The Center

Legal research for Euro-African and Mediterranean dialogue

AGAMI studies legal relations between Europe, Africa and the Mediterranean, with particular attention to the Italy-Morocco axis and to transnational families. AGAMI Research Center is the Association's study and research center and constitutes its main scientific and cultural body. Scientific direction is entrusted to the International Scientific Committee.

The Center promotes:

  • academic cooperation;
  • international legal dialogue;
  • interdisciplinary working groups.

The training dimension

AGAMI Academy

The Center's training dimension is known as AGAMI Academy: the specialized training program dedicated to lawyers, professionals, public officials, students and researchers interested in Euro-African and Mediterranean legal dialogue, within which courses, masterclasses and webinars may be organized.

Study and promotion of judicial cooperation instruments and of the mutual recognition of decisions between the two legal systems.

Analysis of developments in Italian and European legislation and of residence, integration and citizenship pathways.

Protection of minors

In-depth study of the legal mechanisms for the protection of minors in transnational family situations between Italy and Morocco.

Human rights

Research and dissemination on international systems for the protection of fundamental rights in the Mediterranean area.

Vocational training
